ELETTROTEK KABEL S.p.A. acquires ATB s.r.l.
Reggio Emilia, 7 February 2024 – EK Group (www.ek-group.com) , through its subsidiary MB Technology, announces the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of ATB S.r.l (www.atbcablaggi.it) , located in Pieve Vergonte, in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola.
ATB is involved in manufacturing and assembling electrical and electronic wiring, as well as creating control panels for industrial automation. In addition, has a significant background in manufacturing spiral cables and molding high- and low-pressure connections.
EK Group can rely on the over twenty years of experience of ATB, the reliability of its operators, and the most up-to-date production equipment to offer 100% Made in Italy products.
Roberto Gallingani (President & CEO of Elettrotek Kabel S.p.A) believes that the acquisition of ATB will allow EK Group to expand the activities of the wiring harness division; this is an increasingly important part of the EK Group, which today counts 320 employees divided into three divisions (Production of electrical cables – Distribution of electrical cables – Wiring).
Edoardo and Simone Azzoni will remain responsible for business management to maintain the excellent work that has been done over the years and continue with business development activities.
